Stopover in Kuala Lumpur: what to do and when to leave
Kuala Lumpur International has two separate terminals and a fast rail link to KL Sentral. The train makes a city visit possible on a long layover, but immigration, the final urban connection and the return to the correct terminal must all remain protected.
With less than 9 hours, stay at KUL. From 10–12 hours, KLCC can fit if you can enter Malaysia, your baggage is checked through and you reserve at least three hours for the rail return, security and the gate.
