Hong Kong Airport connects very well with Central by Airport Express, but a city outing still adds immigration, train, controls and a conservative return. Central and Victoria Harbor are the most compact exit; The Peak should only come in with a truly long layover.
With less than 7 hours, stay in HKG. From 8–10 hours you can fit Central and Victoria Harbor if you complete the entrance, the baggage is checked through to the final destination and you reserve three hours to return. The Peak requires 11 hours or more.
